Digital Marketing Foundations

Digital Marketing Foundations

About Course

Digital marketing only compounds when it aligns with business logic.

This course teaches you how to build a demand-generation system — not isolated campaigns.

You will construct the Campaign Canvas, integrating:

• Precise positioning
• Channel strategy grounded in unit economics

• A 90-day validation and scaling framework

Marketing is not posting content.

It is increasing demand for a defensible, financially viable business model.

Course Content

Marketing in a Business Context
Before tactics, understand structure. This module reframes marketing as a business function and introduces the Campaign Canvas — the structured system you will build throughout this course.

  • Your Final Deliverable: The Campaign Canvas
  • Why Most Marketing Fails

Positioning Before Promotion
Positioning is not messaging. It is a structural decision. Before selecting channels, writing content, or calculating CAC, you must define who you are for, what structural problem drives them, and why your mechanism is the most logical solution. This module builds Section 1 of your Campaign Canvas. You will define a precise professional segment, uncover the structural problem beneath surface complaints, articulate a differentiated mechanism, and assemble a complete three-sentence positioning framework. Every module that follows depends on this clarity. No channel decisions. No campaign tactics. Constraint first.

Channel Economics
Channel selection is a financial constraint. This module replaces imitation and trend-based decisions with unit economics. You will calculate your acquisition ceiling, test channels against it, and select one primary channel your margin structure can support. If the numbers fail, the channel fails. Section 2 of your Campaign Canvas is completed here.

Structured Content & Conversion
Content without conversion architecture produces attention without revenue. Conversion without content architecture produces friction without demand. This module builds Section 3 of the Campaign Canvas — an integrated Content & Conversion System designed as one structure rather than separate activities. You will align content, capture, offer, and retention into a coherent progression where each element moves the buyer forward. Nothing is built in isolation. Each component strengthens the next. By the end of Lesson 3.4, Section 3 of your Campaign Canvas is complete.

90-Day Execution & Optimization
Strategy without execution is analysis. This module turns your Campaign Canvas into a structured 90-day plan: validate first, optimise second, compound third. Each phase has clear objectives, metrics, and decision rules. Lesson 4.4 completes Section 4 and assembles all four sections into one coherent system. When the five coherence checks pass, your marketing architecture is complete.
